There are some excellent shows available via Amazon Channels. If you’re looking for historical fiction that doesn’t shy away from the darker side of the past, Warrior is certainly a series for you.

This show originally started on Cinemax. When that streamer canceled all original programming, the show moved to Max and was given a third season. However, it was abruptly canceled, and now the series is moving to Netflix.

Of course, you could get Max with Amazon Channels. It was at an extra cost, but everything was kept in one place. Will you now need a whole new app to stream the series, or will there still be a way to watch via Amazon Channels?

Warrior will remain on Max

There is some good news for Prime members. You’ll still be able to watch the series on Max, and you can do that via Amazon Channels. The move to Netflix is under a non-exclusive license.

However, if Netflix chooses to save the series, things could change. We’d likely see any subsequent seasons only head to Netflix and not get added onto Max.

There is another way to watch on Amazon, though. As it was a Cinemax show first, Warrior did get a Digital release. That continued with the third season, and like with Lucifer and The Last Kingdom, we’re sure to see any potential subsequent seasons arrive on Digital and DVD.

You can buy Warrior on Amazon Instant Video right now. When you buy the episodes, they remain in your library at no extra cost. There is no need to have a subscription to anywhere. This is for as long as you keep your free Amazon account, so you don’t even need Prime Video.
