Trap is the latest M. Night Shyamalan, and like so many others, it’s getting mixed reviews. This is one to add to your DVD collection, though, especially if you’re a Josh Hartnett fan. He certainly slayed in this movie!

The movie follows a man who takes his daughter to a concert. It turns out that the FBI have formed a trap to capture a serial killer known as The Butcher. Well, this everyday looking man is the serial killer, and now he needs to figure his way out of the concert venue so he isn’t caught.

When is Trap coming to DVD and Blu-ray?

We love having horrors and thrillers in our DVD collections in time for Halloween. It’s the scariest time of year, and we love to get involved in that. The bad news is that we won’t be able to get Trap on DVD in time for Oct. 31.

The release of the movie is set for just after that. You’ll be able to get your hands on the DVD release on Tuesday, Nov. 5.

This is earlier than we predicted. Due to the way Warner Bros. had been releasing movies on DVD, we expected to see this at the end of November, so it’s exciting to get it just after Halloween.

Yes, you can pre-order Trap via Amazon. This is a great way to make sure you land the lowest price up to the release date, as you get the price guarantee. With Amazon Prime, you also land the free shipping on the release.

Get Trap on Digital

There is some great news for those who prefer to have their movies on Digital. Trap was released on Friday, Aug. 30.

Just keep in mind that the Blu-ray release is a combo pack. You’ll get a code for the digital copy, so if you can wait, I’d recommend doing that.
