The Front Room could head to Prime Video (and it will definitely be on Amazon)

What would you do if your mother-in-law moved in with you? For the majority of people, it’s just a mild inconvenience. For Belinda, it turns into a nightmare in The Front Room.

After the death of her husband’s father, Belinda learns that his will asked for her husband to take in his mother. Well, that’s something Belinda agrees to do, especially since it comes with a financial incentive. Her husband isn’t convinced, but he seems to be outvoted.

Maybe Belinda should have listened. Once Solange moves in, strange things start to happen. It’s clear that Solange has taken far more of an interest in her granddaughter-to-be than most grandmothers do. Solange believes the Holy Spirit is in her, and that leads to some terrifying moments.

The Front Room could head to Prime Video

This horror movie is an A24 movie. A24 doesn’t have a deal with a particular streaming platform, but we have seen these movies head to Prime Video in the past. We have also seen them head to Netflix and Hulu. It’s not clear where this one will stream first.

It could head to Prime Video in the future, even if that isn’t the first streaming home. We’ll be sure to keep an eye on this.

The Front Room will be on Amazon Video

There is another way to watch movies on Amazon. It’s all about getting them on Digital, which means they are available to buy or rent via Amazon Instant Video. The Front Room will head to Digital in the near future.

It can take two to three months for A24 movies to be available outside of theaters. We could see this release on Digital in time for Halloween, so we’ll pay close attention.

Likewise, there will be a DVD release. That’s more likely to happen after Halloween, likely close to the end of the year.
