When could The Boys in the Boat come to DVD and Blu-ray?

You can head to theaters right now for the latest biopic. The Boys in the Boat is now available, and we know that it will come to DVD and Blu-ray in the future.

The movie tells the story of the men’s rowing team at the 1936 Berlin Olympics. The team from the University of Washington put in their all to make it there. This is a story that is told via the book of the same name by Daniel James Brown, and now you can watch the movie adaptation.

Of course, you may not necessarily want to head to theaters right now. It is an expensive time of the year. So, you’ll want to wait for it to come to DVD and Blu-ray. When is that going to be possible?

A potential DVD release date for The Boys in the Boat

As of right now, The Boys in the Boat doesn’t have a DVD release date. That’s not too surprising when you consider it is only just out in theaters.

We can look at movies from the same production company to see how long we should expect to wait for the DVD release. For the sake of this post, we’re looking at Creed III and Bottoms, two MGM movies from 2023.

It took two and a half months for Creed III to get to DVD after its theatrical release. However, Bottoms was released in theaters in the same month and doesn’t have a DVD release date just yet. It’s not clear why that is the case.

It is possible that The Boys in the Boat will come to DVD and Blu-ray by the beginning of March 2024. However, we could end up seeing this being another release that doesn’t get released in physical format for some time.
