Horror movies set at holiday times are popular. It’s not surprising then that horror fans want to add Thanksgiving to their collections.

This is a movie that sees a killer strike after some Black Friday riots in town. It initially looks like the killer is targeting random individuals, but soon, it’s clear that there is a pattern. What does this serial killer want? What happened in the past? After all, it’s always a matter of revenge, right?

The great news is we now have a DVD release date. You’ll get it in the new year.

When is Thanksgiving on DVD and Blu-ray?

Sony Pictures has set the release date for Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2024. This is a little later than we previously expected. We thought it would be released a couple of weeks earlier based on the releases of other Sony Pictures movies. It is possible that more studios are looking to return to the90-day exclusivity window for theaters.

You can currently pre-order the movie on Amazon. This is a great way to land the price guarantee, so you only pay whatever the cheapest price is on the day of release. It doesn’t matter what you agree to pay right now.

What about a Digital release? If that is the format that you prefer to watch movies via, then there is some great news. Thanksgiving is already available via Digital. Get it on Amazon and you’ll keep it in your Amazon Library for as long as you have your account.

Of course, if you can wait until the end of January, you can get the combo packs. This will give you the DVD and Digital code in one set, so you only pay once for the movie in two formats.

Thanksgiving is coming to DVD and Blu-ray on Tuesday, Jan. 30.
