Titans

Before Ritchson was Jack Reacher, he was a few other characters. One of those was Hank Hall aka Hawk in Titans. He brings Hawk to life opposite Dawn Granger/Dove.

The show itself doesn’t start off as a story about Dove and Hawk. We’re introduced to them later on, but you’ll still want to watch this one from the beginning. It’s a much darker telling of the Titans story compared to Teen Titans and Teen Titans Go!. This is not for children!

If you love DC, you’ll want to watch the show regardless. We see Nightwing, Raven, Starfire, and Beast Boy take on the villains in Gotham City and surrounding areas, even though they may not want to. Reluctant heroes are always great as you see them grow and learn.

Titans is available to stream on Max.

Sherlock

Turn your attention to the British crime series Sherlock starring Benedict Cumberbatch. No, Sherlock Holmes is not as big or as menacing as Reacher, but he is smart. He can see things that others can’t, and we have see Reacher piece puzzles together as he takes things in around him.

Sherlock is an amazing detective, but he’s not great with people. Sound familiar? He even has a friend—Watson—who helps to keep him grounded. Again, sound a little familiar? He annoys a lot of people and doesn’t get on with the cops, and he has his own personal nemesis.

Over the course of four seasons, we’ve watched Sherlock solve crimes, save people, and actually capture hearts. You’ll need to watch it now.

Sherlock is streaming on Netflix and Philo.
