Fallout is a violent journey into a dystopian future. Now that you've binged all eight episodes, it's time to turn to these other five shows to get your post-apocalyptic future fix.

The world of Fallout is here, and there’s no doubt that you’re ready for more. There’s a wait for Season 2, and that’s even if Season 2 happens. There are plenty of dystopian futures out there, though.

Fallout is based on the video games of the same name. I’ll leave you to decide whether it’s a good enough adaptation for you. I enjoyed it, but I’m not as loyal to the video games as a lot of people I know. I just like dystopian futures.

Now it’s time to find something else to fill that dystopian void. Here are five shows I’ll be rewatching and some watching for the first time.

Silo on Apple TV+

Let’s start with another recent dystopian future series, which actually put me on a dystopian world kick for a while. Silo on Apple TV+ is based on the WOOL books by Hugh Howey. It’s set thousands of years into the future and people now live underground in a silo.

Of course, there are questions about whether the outside world is liveable. The world outside is supposed to be a toxic wasteland, but what if it isn’t? That’s something one woman wants to know in the first episode, which kickstarts a chain of events that involve murder, potential suicide, and a mechanic being brought up from the bottom of the silo to become the new sheriff.

A second season is in the works.
