Road House and more streaming on Prime Video this week (March 18–24)
Another week is here, and there are some great movies and shows dropping on Prime Video. Road House is just one of the releases to look out for.
The new week brings something for everyone on Prime Video. We take a look at all the releases arriving.
This is a big week for Amazon Originals. The Jake Gyllenhaal movie Road House is arriving at the end of the week. There are debates over whether the remake was needed or wanted, but that’s not stopping people from tuning in.
The 2024 Amazon Original Movie sees Gyllenhaal take on the role of Dalton, an ex-UFC fighter in this adaptation. He ends up becoming the bouncer at a Florida Keys roadhouse, but things aren’t as quiet and idyllic as they initially seem. UFC fighter Conor McGregor also stars in this remake.

More Invincible, LEGO Batman, and more
If you’re looking for something for the younger members of the family, there is some great news. The LEGO Batman Movie comes to Prime Video on Tuesday, March 19. This is a spin-off of the LEGO Movie and its sequel. We got to meet Batman, and the spin-off movie furthers his backstory. It captures the fun of the LEGO movies, so it’s perfect for the kids.
An animated series that isn’t for kids is Invincible. The sixth episode of Season 2 arrives on Friday, March 22. Well, actually, it arrives on Thursday, March 21. Amazon has finally admitted that it drops content early.
Jason Statham fans will be happy to hear that one of his 2021 movies is coming to Prime Video. Wrath of Man drops on Saturday, March 23. It’s your standard action/crime thriller from Statham, with him playing a new security guard for a cash truck. When a heist happens, his co-workers are surprised by the skills he has to take down those looking to steal the money.
