Could Queen Maeve return in The Boys Season 5?

Starlight and co. were delivered a huge blow in The Boys Season 4 finale. With Frenchie, MM, and Hughie, and potentially Kimiko, now captured, Starlight will need to regroup. Could that mean turning to some former Supes?

Queen Maeve was able to fake her death at the end of The Boys Season 3. She sacrificed herself to save everyone else from Soldier Boy as he started to explode. While she survived the explosion, her powers are gone due to the way Soldier Boy affects those with Compound V. This gave Maeve a chance to live a normal life and find love, although it had to be in secret. Everyone knew Homelander would come after her if he found out the truth.

At the end of Season 4, Homelander found out that Soldier Boy wasn’t dead after all. He was in a hidden bunker on ice, and this changes a lot for Season 5. Could it also mean Homelander finds out about Maeve?

Will Starlight turn to Maeve for help in The Boys Season 5?

Starlight will need to find new people to help her. Could this include Queen Maeve? While she doesn’t have her powers right now, she could take some Compound V and become a Supe again. Of course, getting their hands on Compound V would be tricky, and why would Maeve even want to do that?

She made her sacrifice. She now gets to be happy and in love. Doesn’t she deserve that after her redemption arc? I’d say so! But she is also a Supe, and when you start to want to do the right thing, that can mean continuing to do that.

Could Homelander find out Maeve is still alive in The Boys?

Starlight won’t want to bring danger to Maeve, though. The idea of her turning to Maeve seems unfair and stupid. That doesn’t mean Maeve can’t turn up.

There has always been the threat that Homelander will find out the truth. Could Sister Sage learn that Maeve is still alive? If she finds that out, then Homelander will learn the truth. It won’t take long for Vought to figure out where Maeve is so Homelander can go after her.

This could force Maeve back into the fight. She may need to take Compound V to protect herself and her love. This could then bring her back into the fight, standing by Starlight to take down Homelander.
