Amazon is adding 7 titles to Prime Video this week (Sept. 23–29)
Do you love sports? Maybe you’re more into fantasy? There are some great releases for all on Prime Video between Monday, Sept. 23 and Sunday, Sept. 29.
This last week of September sees the release of seven titles. It’s the last week of content on Prime Video this month, so we’ll be looking forward to seeing the first of the month drop for the following week. However, while it’s the last week of drops in September, it’s not a quiet one.
Evolution of the Black Quarterback, Thursday Night Football, and more
There remains to be a few sporting fixtures on Prime Video throughout the week. The biggest event of the week is going to be Thursday Night Football. The Patriots face off against the Jets with the game starting at 8:20 p.m. ET. Remember this is the only way to watch TNF outside of the official NFL channel now. It’s no longer on Fox.
If you want to delve deeper into the world of football, you’ll want to watch the three-part docuseries Evolution of the Black Quarterback. Retired NFL quarterback Michael Vick takes us on a journey across America to see how the Black quarterback has evolved both on the field and off it. What sort of legacy are these men leaving behind, and what does it mean for society as a whole?
If you want a rom-com, you’ll want to check out What If dropping on Prime Video on Monday, Sept. 23. This was titled The F Word in some locations, and it stars Daniel Radcliff as Wallace, a man who is burned out after a string of failed relationships. When he forms a bond with Chantry, the two delve into what it means if your best friend is also your true love.
