Patience will connect with an unlikely character in Ghosts Season 4
When Flower was stuck in the well, the other spirits shared the story of Patience, a puritan ghost who is somewhere on the land. We knew she’d come up in Season 3, and now we’re ready to properly meet her in Ghosts Season 4.
During the third season, we learned that Patience and others were trapped to the point where they had to walk through the dirt to the basement of the house to be able to get back to normal “life.” Isaac had hold of Patience’s hand, but he let go accidentally. Patience was lost in the dirt forever.
Only she wasn’t. She did find her way back to the basement, and now it seems like she wants revenge. She took Isaac at the end of Ghosts Season 3. It’s not surprising then that she’s back in Season 4.
Who will Patience connect with in Ghosts Season 4?
According to co-showrunner Joe Port, Patience will form a connection with an ironic ghost. It’s all about Patience and Isaac.
This probably shouldn’t be that surprising. Patience has taken Isaac and the other main floor ghosts don’t know that yet. Only the Basement Ghosts do, and they won’t want to admit what they did realizing that they landed Isaac in some trouble. So, it will mean Patience and Isaac get some time to hang out. Maybe Patience will understand that it was a mistake, and Isaac wasn’t the only one to leave her behind.
All Patience wants is to be accepted. She’s spent decades on her own, and now she gets to see that the ghostly gathering has grown. She’ll also see that there’s a member of the living who can see them, allowing her to learn more about the world.
Isaac will be a great way to help her connect with the others in the house. He’ll also need a friend after his decision to leave Nigel at the altar. There are a lot of mixed feelings about that!
Ghosts Season 4 premieres on Thursday, Oct. 17 at 8:30/7:30c on CBS. Don’t forget you can get Paramount+ via Amazon Channels to watch the show the next day.
