Most sold Amazon books last week: Percy Jackson enters

We end 2023 with a bang when it comes to Amazon books on the most sold list. It’s clear that there is a huge range of interests when it comes to reading.

Something that won’t be surprising for many is seeing Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan on the list. What may be surprising is that it’s the first ever week this novel is on the list. This is a popular franchise, but the books came out long before this list was ever started. However, wrongs can be righted now.

The addition to the list isn’t surprising with the Disney+ series coming out. Will we see future books? That’s possible, especially as the show continues. We’re fully expecting Percy Jackson and the Olympians to be renewed soon.

Midnight Purgatory enters, None of This Is True reenters

The list of books saw a lot of change, but it was mostly the books between themselves. However, there were a couple of notable entries other than the first Percy Jackson book.

Another new addition was in 15th place. Midnight Purgatory by Nicole Fox entered. Her books tend to move back down the list quickly, but that’s the case for steamy romance books. Although, it is worth noting that Meghan Quinn’s He’s Not My Type is holding relatively well on the list.

Lisa Jewell got a reentry on the list. None of This Is True made its way back onto the list after a couple of weeks of being off it. It is only in 19th place, but it could move up in the coming weeks.
