9 most detestable characters on The Boys

Homelander and Stormfront are easy characters to hate, but we love to hate them. There are some characters on The Boys who are just detestable.

Ashley Barrett

Okay, so some characters are designed to be hated. Ashley is one of those characters. She has learned how to be the boss from other terrible people. Rather than sit back and realize she didn’t like being treated how she did, she decided that everyone needs to learn that way.

Ashley started off relatively meek. There was hope that she could be likable. Maybe she would help bring change. Instead, she turned once she got a position of power.

Of course, she knows that position could be taken away in an instant. She needs to show why she’s needed, but she also needs to think about how she should act.

Victoria Neumann

At first, Victoria looked like she could be a more positive character; one who would be able to end up helping The Boys. Even when we learned she was the one who was blowing off heads, she looked like she could be a somewhat more positive influence in the world. After all, she was removing some of the more problematic characters.

However, it’s clear that she has a much bigger game in mind. She is operating under the radar, and it’s working for her. We’ve seen in Gen V that she is up to far more and will be a bigger threat in The Boys Season 4.

The thing that really turned it for her, though, was her decision to inject her daughter with Compound-V. There was arguably no need for it, and she hasn’t even given her daughter the choice. Sure, she didn’t get a choice, but she knows what that is like. She’s just gone and done it to someone who could have had a choice.
