Can we talk about the goats in The Boys Season 4 poster?
We’re are just over a month away from The Boys Season 4. That means some more posters are out to get us ready for the episodes.
The first poster is of Homelander with a bunch of helmet-covered soldiers in the background. It’s very much got a feeling of war coming and there are a lot of people willing to risk their lives for Homelander’s side.
The second poster puts the focus on the vigilante group. Starlight is back to being Annie January in The Boys Season 4 after getting rid of her costume at the end of Season 3. Kimiko continues to fight for the people, and there is a shot of Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s character in the background—and all we know is that he knows Butcher.
Oh, there is also a shot of Black Noir, confirming that the anonymous member of The Seven is going to be back. Of course, we know that Black Noir died during the third season, but the beauty of a character who was always masked up and never talked means that he can easily be replaced.
What about the goats in The Boys Season 4?
There are two goats in the second poster. The first is spotted just behind Annie January, breaking the fourth wall by looking directly at the camera. The second is flying in the air in the top right of the poster. Why does that part give me a sense of “The Boys will win when goats can fly?”
Of course, the fans who did spot the goats want to know if they’re good or bad. Which side of the fight are they fighting on.
I do get a sense that goats will end up becoming a running theme throughout The Boys Season 4, and why not add something even crazier to the series?
My question is whether they are the new source of milk for Homelander. He needs a replacement, right?
I do also want to know who the guy with the bunny ears and American flag mask is. He doesn’t seem familiar, but maybe I’m forgetting something from the third season.
The Boys Season 4 premieres on Prime Video on Thursday, June 13.
