Amazon is adding almost 20 titles on Freevee today (February 1)

It’s the first of the month. You know that that means. All the streaming platforms drop the bulk of their content. That’s certainly the case on Amazon’s free streaming platform, Freevee.

This ad-supported streamer is bringing 17 titles today, Thursday, Feb. 1. All of the titles are movies, and there is something for all ages and interests. There are some great titles joining throughout the rest of the month, so don’t feel like you’re missing out compared to some of the bulk of releases in previous months.

Family movies, comedies, and more

If you’re looking for something for the whole family, you’re in luck. There are a few great releases, whether you want fully animated movies or you’re looking for a mix. How to Train Your Dragon is back on the streamer. This starts off Hiccup’s story of finding Toothless and realizing the dragon isn’t the dangerous creature that everyone thought he was—well, to Hiccup at least!

If you’re in the mood for a mix of live-action and animation, you’ll want to turn your attention to Space Jam: A New Legacy and Pokemon: Detective Pikachu. These are both a lot of fun for the entire family. Yes, they will keep the younger kids entertained, especially Space Jam.

Prefer a comedy? How about White Chicks? Marlon and Shawn Wayans play Marcus and Kevin Copeland, two FBI agent brothers who foil a drug bust. They have to get a pair of socialites to the Hamptons, who will be used as bait for a kidnapper. However, the socialites refuse to leave when they learn about the plan, and the two brothers have to pose as these two white girls.

If you’re more in the mood for action, turn your attention to White House Down. Channing Tatum and Jamie Foxx star as police officer John Cale and President James Sawyer. After losing out on his dream job of protecting the president, he takes his young daughter on a tour of the White House. An armed paramilitary group attacks the White House and Cale needs to do everything he can to save the president, the country, and his own daughter.
