Deadpool & Wolverine and more DVD and Digital releases happening this week (Oct. 1)
It’s the Digital release we’ve all been waiting for this week! Tuesday, Oct. 1 sees the release of Deadpool & Wolverine.
Okay, I still say it’s best to wait for the DVD and Blu-ray release. That’s going to be epic with bonus features, and the Blu-ray will include the Digital code. But if you just want it right now, the wait is almost over with Deadpool & Wolverine the biggest Digital release of the week.
The Gilded Age Season 2, Sebastian, and more
What if you’re not in the mood for a Marvel movie. I know, what?! But there are some out there not ready for the third Deadpool movie, or they’re waiting for the DVD release. That latter is fair.
The good news is there are some great releases, despite it being a quieter week. The Gilded Age Season 2 is heading to DVD this week. This picks up off the back of the Season 1 events, and we get to see how the women deal with shifts in power and expectations.
If you’re in the mood for a thought-provoking drama, you’ll want to turn to Sebastian. The title isn’t the name of the titular character. Well, not the real name of the titular character. It follows Max, who starts to work as a sex worker as a way to research for his debut novel. It’s time to stop romanticizing sex work and really get into the realities of it.
If you can wait until Friday, Oct. 4, there are a few other releases on Digital happening. One of those is The Killer’s Game, an action crime movie that stars Dave Bautista. It follows a top hitman who is diagnosed with a terminal illness. He wants to go out the way he always intended: to have a hit out on him. However, the hitmen end up taking a target out on his pregnant ex-girlfriend as well, and now he needs to fight them off to save her. Can he win her back at the same time?
