Deadpool & Wolverine won't come to Prime Video, but it will be on Amazon

It’s time for the movie we have all been waiting for. Deadpool & Wolverine is currently out in theaters, and you know that’s where you’re going for the first watch.

This is technically the third Deadpool movie. However, it will heavily feature Wolverine, who is currently recovering from injuries. He comes across the loud-mouth Deadpool, and who would have thought this two could make such a hilarious duo?

Of course, the last thing Wolverine wants is to team up with Deadpool, but they have a common enemy. Wolverine may also realize that life really is better with friends. It’s not like he doesn’t know that after his time with the X-Men.

Deadpoool & Wolverine won’t head to Prime Video at first

We do start this with some bad news, though. Eventually, this movie will head to a streaming platform so you can watch it at home. That streaming platform is not Prime Video.

Deadpool & Wolverine is a Marvel movie. Like the previous two Deadpool movies, it’s likely to head to Hulu first. It could head to Disney+, but that streamer is aimed more at children so it’s less likely to go there. It’s going to depend on decisions made up top. Hulu tends to be the preferred streaming home for the Disney content that is a little more adult.

Either way, Prime Video isn’t the home for now. It could be a home in the future, but not for a few years.

The good news is that Amazon has another way to watch shows digitally. It’s all about the digital releases, and they head to Amazon Instant Video. This is separate from Prime Video, and allows you to buy or rent movies so you can watch them on the go. When you buy them, you only pay once and you can watch over and over again without a streaming subscription.

Yes, this movie will come to Digital. This could be within the next two months, as Disney tends to release its digital content early, although sometimes to rent only rather than buy.
