CSI: Vegas Season 3 and more coming to DVD and Digital this week (Sept. 3, 2024)

As Labor Day Weekend winds down, eyes are on the next bunch of DVD and Digital releases. CSI: Vegas Season 3 is one of the releases happening this week.

September is getting off to a rather quiet start when it comes to DVD and Digital releases. There are still some excellent options to get on Tuesday, Sept. 3.

It is going to be the week after that most are looking forward to. That’s when Inside Out 2 comes to DVD and Blu-ray. However, before then, it’s a week of period dramas, crime dramas, and more.

CSI: Vegas, Escape from Germany, and more

This week has something slightly unusual for the DVD releases. While we’re used to some Digital releases happening on a Friday, it’s very rare for a DVD and Blu-ray release to happen on that day. However, Friday, Sept. 6 will see the release of Escape from Germany on DVD and Blu-ray.

The movie is set in 1939 Germany, and Hitler’s army is closing in. 85 American missionaries are in a church at the time, but as the Nazi regime takes over, they need to find a way to get out. It’s one of the most dramatic events in modern LDS history.

On Tuesday, Sept. 3, you’ll want to get ready for the release of CSI: Vegas Season 3 on DVD. This is the final season of the CSI revival, and there is a little bit of closure at the end. While it wasn’t written as a series finale, the final season was removed in post-production to make it work. The season starts off with questions about John Folsom, though, after his arrest at the end of the second season.

If you like a fun mystery, you’ll want to get Coup! On Digital this week. The movie follows a mysterious grifter who turns up on an isolated seaside estate. He says that he is going to be the new chef for a wealthy family, but things take a turn when a plague descends on the island. What has this cook done, and why?
