DVD and Digital releases this week: Mean Girls and more

Mean Girls is heading to Digital on Tuesday, Feb. 20. Here's a look at everything else you can buy on DVD and Digital.

It’s another week, and that means more movies and shows to rent or buy. There are some great releases on both Digital and DVD.

Mean Girls is the biggest release. This is only on Digital for now. We’re keeping an eye out for the DVD release date, as so many people will want to add this to their collection.

What else is available to buy on DVD and Digital this week? Whether you want a murder mystery, an action movie, or something in between, there is something for you.

Heroes of the Golden Mask, Carrot Cake Murder, and more

For those with children, Heroes of the Golden Mask is one of the DVD releases to look out for. It’s a cute animated adventure comedy with Ron Perlman, Natasha Liu Bordizzo, and Patton Oswalt doing some of the voices. It follows an America orphan who is transported to Sanzingdui, an ancient Chinese kingdom. He will team up with superheroes to defend the city.

For those in the mood for a crime drama, Carrot Cake Murder: A Hannah Swensen Mystery is one to get. This is on both Digital and DVD this week. Hannah investigates a skeleton found in Lake Eden, who turns out to be a beloved resident. Her fiancé isn’t impressed that she wants to investigate this murder, but she needs to bring the murderer to justice.

If you’re in the mood for a romance, Eric Winter and Roselyn Sanchez star in A Taste of Summer. Sanchez plays Gabby Ferrar, who moves to the town of Bright Shore from New York. She runs into Caleb Delany, a singer father who coaches the girls’ softball team and runs his own restaurant. Of course, Gabby ends up opening her own restaurant and finds herself competing with this local favorite.
