The Dune: Part Two DVD release date is officially set. Make sure you get your pre-orders in.

If there is one movie we couldn’t wait to get to theaters this year, it was Dune: Part Two. The theatrical release date was delayed due to the writers and actors strikes during the summer, and that has meant a slight delay in the DVD release date.

The second movie picks up off the back of the first one. Paul needs to fight for justice and revenge, and he needs the help of friends he has made to take down his enemies. He does have the advantage of everyone believing him to be dead, meaning a surprise attack is possible.

Dune: Part Two DVD release date

The official release date is set for Tuesday, May 14. This is around the time that we predicted the release date, which means that Warner Bros. isn’t quite getting back to the 90-day exclusivity window just yet. It is getting close, though.

In some great news, you can pre-order the release right now. When you pre-order Dune: Part Two on DVD and Blu-ray via Amazon, you land the price guarantee. This means you only pay whatever the lowest amount is up to the release date. It doesn’t matter if you agree to pay more right now.

When you order with your Amazon Prime account, you’ll also get the free shipping. The DVD is usually shipped out on the day of the release, so you’ll get it on Wednesday, May 15.

Dune: Part Two is already on Digital

Can’t wait for the DVD release date? Well, you can already get it on Digital. Just keep in mind that the DVD releases will include the Digital codes so that you can get both formats of the movie for the price of one. Sometimes, it’s worth waiting, especially as we’re so close to the release date now.
