Is Dune: Part Two on Amazon after theaters? (Where to stream)

It’s time to return to Arrakis in the second Dune movie. You can watch Dune: Part Two in theaters right now, and you really should. That’s the best way to watch the movie. Of course, afterward, you will want to see it at home.

The second movie picks up off the back of the first. Princess Irulan Corrino believes that Paul Atreides may still be alive. However, her father, Emperor Shaddam IV isn’t all that hopeful. He’s in low spirits since the fall of House Atredies.

However, it turns out that Paul is still alive. Now he wants revenge against those who took out his family. He teams back up with Chani and the Freeman to get that revenge. The movie will follow the second half of Frank Herbert’s novel.

Dune: Part Two will not come directly to Prime Video

The bad news is that you won’t be able to watch Dune: Part Two on Prime Video for free with your Prime membership. At least, not at first. This is a Warner Bros. movie, and those movies go to Max for their first streaming home.

The good news is Max is one of the Amazon Channels. You’ll be able to keep your movies in one place, although you’ll pay for Max through Amazon. You can cancel at any time.

Dune: Part Two will come to Digital via Amazon Video

There is another way to watch movies on Amazon. You can turn to Amazon Instant Video, which is where you can buy or rent movies on Digital. Yes, just like the first movie, the sequel is sure to come to Digital and you’ll be able to own it. Just keep in mind that you only have access for as long as you have your free Amazon account.

It took around six weeks for the first movie to go from theaters to Digital. I don’t think we’ll see the same thing for this one, as the first movie came out when studios were still getting used to a post-pandemic world and movie theaters weren’t all open or had restrictions. We could have to wait two to three months for this one.
