Despicable Me 4 won't go to Prime Video at first, but it will be on Amazon
It’s time for the kids to drag you to the movies again. Despicable Me 4 is finally out.
This movie picks up off the back of all the events in the first three movies, but there’s now a new member of the family. Gru Jr. has joined the fold, and he is set on tormenting his dad. It should just be a bit of fun for father and son, but they have a bigger issue to deal with.
Maxime Le Mal is a criminal who has escaped from prison. He wants to get revenge against Gru, and the whole family needs to come together to help.
Despicable Me 4 won’t stream in Prime Video at first
This is not a movie that will head to Prime Video at first. It’s an Illumination movie, which is part of the NBCUniversal brand. That means it is likely to head to Peacock as its first streaming home. It’s then likely to head to Netflix after that.
It could head to Prime Video in the future, though. This is something likely to happen in a few years, and we’ll keep an eye out for it.
Despicable Me 4 will head to Amazon Instant Video
There is another way to watch movies on Amazon. It’s all about Amazon Instant Video, which is where you can buy or rent movies on Digital. The good news is that Despicable Me 4 is likely to head to Digital, and it will be available to buy or rent on Amazon Instant Video.
You don’t need a Prime Video membership for this. When you buy movies on Digital, you get to keep them for as long as you have your free Amazon account. You can watch as much as you want without paying extra. This is likely to happen within the next couple of months, which is great for the kids!
