Reacher Season 2 premiere date and release schedule confirmed

We are certainly ready for Reacher Season 2. Now we know there isn’t that much of a wait left. Amazon has confirmed the premiere date and release schedule.

We knew that Reacher Season 2 would arrive in December 2023. Amazon just hadn’t confirmed the exact premiere date at first. Well, now things have changed. Not only do we have a premiere date, but we have a confirmed release schedule thanks to TVLine.

Reacher Season 2 will premiere on Friday, Dec. 15. The first three episodes of the season will drop at once, and then the show is moving into a weekly release. Yes, this is exactly the same as the first season and many other Amazon shows.

We’ll get the finale on Friday, Jan. 19, 2024. We’ll have something to watch throughout the winter break when we know broadcast shows are going to be off—and not just because of the strike action.

What to expect in Reacher Season 2

The second season is based on the 11th book in Lee Child’s series of novels, titled Bad Luck and Trouble. The promo for the season is out to give us a look at what to expect for our favorite drifter.

Reacher will get a coded message that pulls him out of his driver lifestyle. Members of his former military unit are being brutally murdered under mysterious circumstances. It’s up to Jack to get in and figure out what’s going on. After all, he could also be on the list of targets, and he’s still a military man at heart—no one will be left behind.

Reacher will be joined by three of his former teammates. We’ll get to see Maria Sten return as Frances Neagley and we’ll meet Serinda Swan as Karla Dixon and Shaun Sipos as David O’Donnell.
