With a new Cormoran Strike book entering the list of most sold Amazon books the previous week, it wasn’t a surprise to see it on the most read list.

The list of most read Amazon books saw some changes happen throughout the week. Most of that change was books moving up and down the list that have been there for some time.

There was only one new addition to the list. The Running Grave by Robert Galbraith entered in 20th place. That’s not too surprising when you consider the Cormoran Strike novel entered high on the list of most sold Amazon books the previous week.

It did mean that Lucy Score’s novel, Things We Hide from the Light was knocked off the list after reentering the previous week.

Fourth Wing takes over the top spot

For the last few weeks, The Covenant of Water by Abraham Verghese has taken over the top spot on the list. That changed last week with Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros getting back up to the top. It was only a matter of time with just how popular this book is on TikTok.

Things We Left Behind by Lucy Score also moved back up the list. It gained three spots to get into third place.

While Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone by J.K. Rowling remained steady, The Goblet of Fire dropped two places to land in fifth place. That also meant that Tom Lake by Ann Patchett was knocked out of the Top 5.

What wasn’t surprising to see was Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus gaining some spots on the list. The book, which is the basis for the series of the same name on Apple TV+, gained two spots.
