After entering well, Lucy Score’s new novel saw a dip on the list of most read Amazon books last week. Here’s the list from Oct. 1 to Oct. 7.

It’s very normal to see a new book dip down the list of most read books on Amazon after a couple of weeks. There are always going to be a few favorites, and the Harry Potter books continue to remain steady on the list.

Things We Left Behind by Lucy Score was knocked out of the Top 5 last week. It dropped four places to land in sixth place. It is worth noting that Things We Hide from the Light reentered the list and Things We Never Got Over remained steady.

Harry Potter and Fourth Wing up

Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros gained a spot to get back into second place last week. The Covenant of Water by Abraham Verghese held onto the top spot, but Fourth Wing could sneak back into the top.

The rest of the Top 5 was made up of two Harry Potter books and Tom Lake by Ann Patchett. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone by J.K. Rowling is the most notable mover up the list, gaining three places to get back into fourth place.

Holly by Stephen King lost a place, which wasn’t that surprising. King’s books are popular but they tend to drop down the list quickly as fans devour the books and then wait for the next one. And it doesn’t take long to get another one.

Demon Copperhead by Barbara Kingsolver and Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus switched places. That was pretty much it for movement on the list.
