Will Totally Killer come to DVD and Blu-ray?
Totally Killer is a great horror movie to check out on Prime Video, but what if you want to watch it without a subscription? Will it come to DVD?
Prime Video has some great horror movies, and Totally Killer is one to add to that list. It’s a fun mixture of sci-fi and horror, with Jamie heading back to 1987 to figure out who killed her mom’s friends and to stop the killer before he becomes a problem again.
Of course, you’ll want to watch it over and over again. The great news is that it’s an Amazon Original Movie, which means it’s going to be on Prime Video for some time—probably at least until Prime Video is no more as Amazon hasn’t shown signs of removing content like Max and Disney+.
What about if you want to watch it without a subscription, though? A lot of movies go to DVD, but is that the case for Totally Killer?
Totally Killer probably won’t go to DVD and Blu-ray
I wouldn’t count on this movie heading to DVD and Blu-ray. It’s an Amazon Original Movie that went straight to streaming. The only Amazon movies that have gone to DVD afterward is those that have been in theaters. And even then, not all of them go to DVD and Blu-ray.
We also won’t likely see the movie head to Digital. In fact, this is less likely than DVD and Blu-ray. It takes people away from Prime Video as there is a way to watch the movie online without paying for a subscription.
It doesn’t make a lot of sense for Amazon to release content outside of Prime Video. Doing this encourages people to head elsewhere. They don’t pay the subscription for the streamer, which is what pays for the creation of the content. Never say “never,” but it’s all unlikely.
Totally Killer is available to stream on Prime Video.
