The Wheel of Time Season 3 is happening, but we need to wait for it. When could we expect the series to arrive on Prime Video?

We have just had the end of another excellent season of The Wheel of Time. The world-building has grown, and the show has brought us more characters to get to know. Now we need more of the storytelling.

The great news is that the series is renewed for a third season. That happened back in July, with filming starting up earlier this year. With it not being a SAG-AFTRA show, filming has continued throughout the summer months even with the strike going on. There was a small break in August that was preplanned, and now filming is back on.

The bad news is it means The Wheel of Time Season 3 is not going to arrive this month. When could we see it come to Prime Video?

When will The Wheel of Time Season 3 premiere on Prime Video?

It’s hard to say when we could see the arrival of the season. All we know right now is that filming is set to wrap in November 2023. This is a little later than initially thought, as October 2023 seemed to be the initial plan.

Then there is the post-production work, and this can take just as long as filming when it comes to a show full of graphics like this one. We’re probably not looking at it arriving until early 2025 at the earliest. However, it the release follows the way the first two seasons came out, we could look at July 2025.

Will the show be a binge-watch release? Don’t expect that. We’re likely to see the first three episodes released at once and then the remaining episodes released weekly.
