We are ready for another exciting thriller on Amazon. It’s all about the new Jenna Coleman series, Wilderness. Based on the book of the same name by B.E. Jones, the series follows a couple who seem perfect for each other. However, there are secrets deep beneath the surface that are about to come out.

When Liv wants revenge, she realizes that she’s in the perfect place for it. What will she do when she’s out there and presented with so many opportunities?

Wilderness episode count

This is a limited series. That means that it was written and produced to be just one season. There is a beginning, middle, and an end, which fits the fact that it is based on a one-book story.

There are six episodes to tell the tale. This is in line with a lot of British dramas. We just have to look at the likes of The Rig and The Devil’s Hour recently to see that British shows remain on the shorter side of things.

Considering the series is based on a 320-page book, this shouldn’t be too much of a problem. Six one-hour episodes tend to be enough to get through the bulk of the story. There may just be small elements that are missed. At least we get six episodes and not the four that The Ex-Wife got!

All six episodes should drop at once. There are no signs that this is going to be a weekly release. It has become the case with a lot of British shows. They remain with a traditional streaming release on Prime Video.
