Everything coming to Prime Video this week: New Amazon movie and more

There’s a new Amazon movie hitting the streaming platform this week. Here’s everything arriving on Prime Video between Sept. 4 and 10.

There isn’t a lot arriving on Prime Video this week. We have just had the first of the month drop, which brought more than 300 titles to work your way through. You’ll use some of this week to do just that.

After all, The Wheel of Time Season 2 premiere was the big release of the week, wasn’t it? You needed to see where this season would pick up and what would happen as soon as possible. That way you didn’t need to avoid spoilers online.

Sitting in Bars with Cake, The Wheel of Time, and more

There is a new episode of The Wheel of Time Season 2. This one gets us to the halfway point, and it’s sure to add much more to the story. The drama is only going to intensify.

Do you want to step out of the fantasy realm at the weekend? There’s a new movie that is loosely based on a true story. Sitting in Bars with Cake is about Corrine and Jane, two best friends who are there to support each other. Corrine convinces Jane to commit a year to baking cake and bringing them to bars so that Jane can work on her confidence.

The problem is Corrine faces a serious medical issue that leads to her whole life changing. Jane refuses to leave her best friend’s side throughout all of this, giving us a glimpse of what real friendship is all about.

Earlier in the week, The Single Moms Club drops on Prime Video. This movie follows five single mothers who need to organize the school’s upcoming dance fundraiser when their children all face expulsion. They think they’re nothing like each other, but they soon realize that they all have similar fears, problems, and goals in life. And now it’s time to reclaim their freedom and lower the stress of being a single mom.
