The Wheel of Time Season 2 is finally coming to Amazon this week. Is this something to watch with the kids around, or wait until they go to bed?

It’s been a long wait, and that wait is almost at an end. The Wheel of Time Season 2 is coming out tonight. Thanks to time zones, the release could happen as early as 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT tonight, Thursday, Aug. 31. However, keep in mind that the official release date isn’t until Friday, Sept. 1.

With such an early release time, you’ll want to know if this is something to put on with the kids around or not. Is it a show that you should watch once they go to bed? Could it be something that you all watch together?

You’ll want to look at the official age rating for the show. It’s also worth looking at the first season to get an idea of what to expect.

The Wheel of Time Season 2 age rating

The official age rating for the series is TV-14. This isn’t surprising when you consider the books the show is based on are suitable for younger readers. They’re great options for teenagers delving deeper into the fantasy genre.

Think of this age rating as the same as a PG-13 movie. It’s great for teenagers, but it could also be suitable for younger audiences.

There isn’t that much nudity or language in the series. The violence is mostly done off-screen, with a lot of it being left to the imagination. There are a few bits of it here and there. This is a series that is sure to open a discussion about differences and the persecution of witches.

It’s worth watching the first season to see what to expect. This is a great way to see if it’s suitable for your children.
