Reacher Season 2 is not coming to Prime Video in September 2023
We would love to see Reacher Season 2 already, but that’s not happening just yet. We will get to see episodes before the end of the year, though.
As much as we would love to see Reacher Season 2 already, we’ve known for a while that isn’t going to happen. We didn’t expect to see it on the list of releases on Prime Video in September, but that didn’t stop us from checking just in case.
This month is a big month for content, though. We’ll get the new season of The Wheel of Time and we’ll see the first episodes of The Boys spin-off, Gen V. There is plenty to look forward to while we wait for the second season of the Lee Child adaptation.
The good news is that we don’t have to wait much longer. There is a sort-of end date.
When will Reacher Season 2 premiere on Prime Video?
Vernon Sanders, Head of Television at Amazon Studios, did tell Collider that we would see the series before the end of the year. Shortly after that, we got a premiere month. We’ll get to see Reacher Season 2 in December 2023.
No exact date has been given just yet. We’re sure to get that very soon. Until then, we’ll just have to accept that we have until the end of the year to see some episodes.
We are expecting to see this series get a weekly release. We’ll probably see something similar to the first season, which saw the release of the first three episodes and then the remaining episodes released once a week. However, Jack Ryan was released with two episodes a week earlier this year, and that’s the way Upload will be released in October. It will be interesting to see if Amazon opts for that release to test out the strategy with this series.
Reacher is available to stream on Prime Video.
