Amazon delivered bad news last week, but it’s good news this week. Upload Season 3 has a premiere date, and there isn’t that long to wait.

We have had a lot of questions for Upload Season 3. The second season left us with a major cliffhanger, that included Nathan being downloaded and suffering from a nosebleed that could lead to exploding, Aleesha’s temp reinstalling Nathan into Lakeview after realizing he was MIA, and Ingrid stealing a lock of Nathan’s hair to potential create another clone of him.

To get the answers, we needed to see the third season. Of course, this is a show that takes a long time in post-production, and we did fear that the SAG-AFTRA strikes may have affected that. In some good news, this series wasn’t affected and now we know when the third season will premiere.

Upload Season 3 premiere date

There is a lot going on in the third season. We know that Nathan and Nora will attempt to break into Freeyond to save those who are uploading themselves to escape the poverty of the real world. It is all a way to keep the rich in the real world so only they can vote.

However, Nathan’s nosebleed suggests that his head will explode soon. That doesn’t mean he’s gone, though, as there is a digital version back of him in Lakeview. Once Ingrid learns about that, there will be trouble.

When will we get to see it all play out? Get ready for Friday, Oct. 20. TVLine shares that there will be eight episodes to this season. That’s still shorter than the first season but longer than the second. Seven episodes was a little too short, and we feared that would be the length of Season 3 based on how long filming took.

There will be two episodes released per week, following a similar format as The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 4, Jack Ryan Season 3, and Carnival Row Season 2.
