We would love to see our favorite vigilantes back in action, but that’s not happening just yet. When will The Boys Season 4 premiere on Prime Video?

As much as we would love to see Starlight, Butcher, and the others continue their takedown attempts of Homelander and Vought International, that’s not going to happen just yet. The Boys Season 4 is not on the list of releases on Prime Video in September.

The good news is the spin-off series is coming to Prime Video. Gen V will arrive later in the month, but we have a wait on our hands for the series that started this R-rated world.

It’s not that we expected the season this month, though. To be honest, we didn’t even expect it to arrive in 2023.

When will The Boys Season 4 premiere on Prime Video?

While Amazon has canceled The Peripheral and A League of Their Own due to the strike action, we don’t see that happening with The Boys. The fourth season was already in production before the strike action. However, the strike action did bring a halt to a few things.

The initial target was an early 2024 release. That now isn’t likely to happen, but we could still see the series at some point next year. It all depends now on when the writers and actors go back to work. Once the strike action is complete, work can immediately start back up on the series. It’s another reason why we’re not too worried about the show. Work can immediately start back up to keep the show on track for a 2024 release.

Plus, this series is one of Amazon’s most popular. There is no way it’s going to scrap the show when it knows the audience will stick around. We’re willing to wait until the end of next year if that’s what it takes.
