Golda is the latest movie starring Helen Mirren to hit theaters. Where will you be able to stream the movie online? Will it come to Amazon?

How much do you know about the Yom Kippur War of 1973? It’s not really something that is taught about in school, so you may not have even heard about it. However, it was a huge event in Israel, and it led to Israeli Prime Minister Golda Meir facing overwhelming odds.

Not only did she have a complex relationship with Henry Kissinger, the U.S. Secretary of State, which caused problems during the war, but she had her own skeptical cabinet to handle. Millions of lives hung in the balance, and it was up to her to work out away to bring peace to her nation.

It’s time to see all that play out on screen. You can head to theaters tomorrow to see the movie.

Is Golda on Prime Video?

Of course, you may want to watch it at home. There are a few big movies coming out this weekend, so you’ll want to know if you can stream this one on Prime Video.

It’s hard to say where the movie will head to after its run in theaters. It’s a Bleecker Street production, and there isn’t a set home for these movies. Some of them have gone to Prime Video in the past, but we’ve also had to get STARZ and Hulu subscriptions to watch them before.

The good news is there will be another way to watch on Amazon in the future. Like other theatrical releases, this is sure to get a Digital release. You’ll be able to buy the movie on Amazon Instant Video, where it will be added to your Amazon Library for as long as you have your account.

When is this going to be? That’s not clear. It could be anywhere within the next month to the next three months.

Golda is coming to theaters on Friday, Aug. 25.
