Is Good Omens Season 2 released weekly or a binge-watch?

Good Omens Season 2 arrives at the end of the week. What you really want to know is whether you’ll be able to binge the whole season in one sitting.

Amazon hasn’t been all that consistent when it comes to release schedules. It’s hard to keep track of the shows that will be released weekly and those that are a binge-watch. When you think you have it figured out, and Amazon does something completely different.

So, what about Good Omens Season 2? While the first season was a binge-watch release, that doesn’t mean the second season will be. After all, we saw the first three seasons of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel come out as binge-watches and then the fourth and fifth seasons got different styles of weekly releases.

There’s no doubt that you want to check out all six episodes in one sitting. Is that going to be possible?

How will Good Omens Season 2 come to Prime Video?

There is some great news for those who like to binge-watch their shows. Good Omens Season 2 is not going to be a weekly release. All six episodes will drop at once on Friday, July 28.

The episodes are around an hour long, so you’ll want to make way for six hours of footage. That’s not too bad considering we’re used to binge-watching eight to 10 episodes with a lot of shows. Thanks to time zones, there’s a good chunk of the episodes you’ll get through before Friday even arrives. We’re looking at the show dropping at around 7 p.m. ET on Thursday, July 27.

What is this season about? Well, Gabriel turns up at Aziraphale’s bookshop with no memory of how he got there. He doesn’t even remember who he is. Of course, Aziraphale wants to solve the mystery, but he needs Crowley’s help. Is Crowley going to help with this one? He might need to when it turns out that Heaven and Hell are after this memory-less Gabriel.

Good Omens Season 2 is coming to Prime Video on Friday, July 28.
