Good Omens Season 2 has a premiere date. Just how many episodes will there be in this second season of the Neil Gaiman story?

There is a new season of Good Omens coming. Neil Gaiman teamed up with The Hillywood Show to bring us the premiere date for the season. We know very little of the story, but we do get to know details like the episode count.

It has been a long wait for the series. Filming started in November 2021 and it wrapped last year. This is a series that takes a long time during post-production, which is why we’ve had to wait for the premiere. The good news is the premiere is just around the corner. Now we just need to know how many episodes we’ll get.

Good Omens Season 2 episode count

The first season of the series had eight episodes, but that’s not going to be the case for the second season. It’s a couple of episodes shorter. We’ll get six episodes in Good Omens Season 2.

The story is based on the unfinished sequel to the story by Neil Gaiman and Sir Terry Pratchett. This sequel couldn’t be completed before Pratchett’s death, and Gaiman didn’t want to finish it off without him. However, he has decided to use it for the sequel to the series.

We will get more of the friendship between Aziraphale and Crowley. The two have lived together on Earth for centuries, and we saw their friendship throughout the first season. There were a lot of flashbacks of how they would come across each other during the first season as it was billed as a limited series at first. Now it’s time to see more of that.

There is also a mystery to solve in this season. What could that mystery be, and is it linked to not allowing the apocalypse to happen?
