With a show about teenagers, you’d think that it would be suitable for teenagers. What is The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 2 age rating?

Never assume a TV show or movie is going to be suitable for the whole family. Do you remember Sausage Party and how many parents thought the animated movie would be for youngsters? It really wasn’t!

And let’s look at Euphoria. Just because a series is about teenagers doesn’t mean that it will be suitable for teenagers. Prime Video offers a lot of content for older audiences, but is this one of them? You’ll want to check out The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 2 age rating to see if it’s suitable for the children in your house.

The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 2 age rating

The first season of the series worked for those 16 and older. The self-applied age rating in the states is TV-14, though. That suggests that it could be suitable for 14 years and older. The second season is set to be much of the same content, which means some teenage drama and content. We’re looking at the season being suitable for those 16 and up at least. After all, Belly is 16.

There isn’t that much in terms of harsh language and sexual scenes. The biggest part of it that likely takes the age rating up is some drug use. Susannah uses marijuana to deal with the pain from her cancer, and we’re sure to see that continue if Susannah is still around for the season.

There are make-out scenes, and there is some partial nudity. There is nothing when it comes to graphic violence, though. This is going to be stuff your teenage is already dealing with in their real life, so it’s looking suitable for the older teenagers in your house.
