Is The Grand Tour canceled?

The Grand Tour: Eurocrash arrives at the end of the week. Will this be the last of the specials? Is The Grand Tour canceled by Amazon?

Top Gear fans were disappointed when the BBC dropped Jeremy Clarkson. Richard Hammond and James May followed, leading to a complete change to the Top Gear lineup. Amazon stepped in to help the trio, though, bringing The Grand Tour to life.

After an initial run of Top Gear style episodes, the series moved to doing specials. These are, after all, some of the favorite moments from Top Gear. We’ve had a good run of specials recently, and there is a new one arriving this week. We’ll get to see the trio head across Central Europe.

Will this be the last one, though? Are there any more specials to see?

The Grand Tour is officially canceled

There was some bad news earlier this year. Due to the controversy around Jeremy Clarkson’s comments about Meghan Markle, Amazon dropped Clarkson. This led to both of his Amazon shows being canceled. One of those was The Grand Tour.

What does this mean for the specials already ordered? Variety made it clear there were four specials in the works. Eurocrash is one of them. The good news for fans is that all the specials would still go ahead. We’re expecting the last of the specials in 2024. After that, there will be no more.

Of course, there could be a change before then. There probably won’t be as Clarkson doesn’t feel like he said anything wrong, but things could change before the end of 2024 leading to a change of heart. For now, expect the final three The Grand Tour specials to be the last.
