Like other episodes of The Grand Tour, the latest special wasn’t on the list of Prime Video releases this month. Yet, A Scandi Flick drops tonight.
Not everything that comes to Prime Video is included on the list of releases for the month. It’s not all that clear why that happens, but it could be due to a lack of being able to plan when a show will be ready. That’s certainly the case for the likes of The Grand Tour, which sees our favorite trio handling all sorts of situations around the world.
Well, there’s a new episode arriving. The Grand Tour Presents: A Scandi Flick is the most recent one, and it’s arriving tonight. The episode officially drops at midnight UK time on Friday, Sept. 16, which means we could get it a little earlier. Look out for the release at any time from 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT tonight, Thursday, Sept. 15.
There’s no guarantee we’ll get this early release, but it does happen more often than not. That’s especially the case for this TV series franchise.
What is The Grand Tour Presents: A Scandi Flick about?
Jeremy, James, and Richard have been stuck at home for the last two years. Well, we’ve seen them take on trips during the pandemic, but now things are starting to get back to normal. The trio heads to the Scandinavia Arctic Circle and is put to the test with the snow and elements.
It all begins at the Norwegian coast. We’ll get a chance to watch them drive on the Lofoten Islands peninsula before heading across Europe’s Last Great Wilderness and across the countries to the Russian border.
It’s supposed to be an easy trip. Of course, that’s never the way it turns out. There is always some sort of problem with at least one of the cars, and this time they’re facing some perilous situations. One of those involves driving across frozen lakes. And when there’s nowhere to live, they need to build their own homes in the snowy wilderness. Maybe staying home during the pandemic wasn’t all that bad.
The Grand Tour Presents: A Scandi Flick is on Prime Video tonight.
