While there is plenty of scripted content right now, sometimes you want unscripted fun. The Grand Tour Presents: Carnage a Trois will bring that tonight.

Get ready for another highly entertaining special from The Grand Tour team. This latest special is going to drop at midnight GMT tonight on Amazon Prime Video.

Want the fun a little earlier? The good news is time zones work in our favor. The new special is likely to arrive at 7 p.m. ET tonight, Thursday, Dec. 16. This isn’t guaranteed but it happens more times than it doesn’t. It’s great if you just can’t stay up until midnight to watch it.

If the episode isn’t available right away, it will be there by midnight. There is only one episode in this special, similar to the other specials this season.

What to expect on The Grand Tour: Carnage a Trois

The new special was filmed during lockdown, and it starts in the UK again. Jeremy Clarkson, James May, and Richard Hammond are all in Wales, to begin with. Their journey will take them across England to the Channel, and they’re going to cross over into France.

This special is all about the bizarre world of French car culture. Try saying that without Clarkson’s voice saying the word “bizarre.” You know you hear it!

There are, of course, plenty of spectacular moments thrown in. The trio will be involved in propeller-powered car and helicopter stunts, as well as a chance to get involved in bomb defusals.

At the end, there’s a chance to see French arthouse cinema. That’s going to be an interesting change of pace.
