What is Citadel: Diana about?

At the end of the Citadel Season 1 finale, there was a preview for a new series. What is Citadel: Diana about, and when will it come to Prime Video?

Before the Citadel Season 1 finale started, fans were advised to stick around for a preview at the end. This was a chance to look at the planned growth for the world of the series. After just one season, we’re already seeing a spin-off, and it’s clear that this was planned well in advance of the Priyanka Chopra Jonas series premiering on the network.

Of course, fans of the main series want to know more about the spin-off. What will Citadel: Diana be about, will it include any of the characters we’ve already come to know, and when will it premiere on the streamer?

What is Citadel: Diana about?

There isn’t much to go off just yet. What we do know is that this is an Italian spin-off series set in the same world as the one we’ve already come to know.

While the promo doesn’t show any of the characters we’ve already come to know (and be suspicious of), it is connected in a way to them. They could be mentioned, and you never know; they could show up at some point.

We’re presuming that the series will be about Diana, and how she went from cop to Citadel agent. It looks like there are two timelines for the story, similar to the main series which saw two timelines as we got to know who Nadia and Mason were before the event that led to their memories being wiped.

Matilda De Angelis will play the presumably titular character. All we know as a release is that it will arrive sometime next year. That gives Citadel Season 2 time as there’s something within the same universe.
