Happy Place by Emily Henry soared up the list of most read Amazon books last week. Here’s a look at the full list from May 7, 2023.

The list of most read Amazon books didn’t stay all that steady last week. There was a lot of movement, and it was books between themselves. There was nothing new on the list, although there was a reentry at the bottom of the list.

The most notable mover was Happy Place by Emily Henry. After initially entering the previous week, it soared up into the Top 5 last week. That wasn’t too surprising when you consider where it entered on the list of most sold Amazon books the previous week.

While the Top 3 remained the same, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone by J.K. Rowling got back into fourth place and Happy Place got into fifth place.

The Last Thing He Told Me down, The Housemaid reenters

There were a few notable movers down the list. He Who Fights with Monsters 9 by Shirtaloon and Travis Deverell saw the biggest drop, losing nine places to land outside the Top 10.

The Last Thing He Told Me by Laura Dave was a notable mover down the list, too. While it only lost two spots, the series is still running on Apple TV+ so we thought it might remain higher on the list for the time being.

The Housemaid by Freida McFadden reentered the list in between the two Sarah J. Maas books. It took over Mad Honey‘s spot the previous week, which dropped off the list last week.
