Is Reacher Season 2 coming to Prime Video in 2023?

We are certainly ready to see Jack Reacher back in action. The question we have is whether Reacher Season 2 will arrive in 2023 or not. How long will we need to wait?

It didn’t take too long for Amazon to renew Reacher for a second season. It was just days into the first season that we got the great news. That should have meant a short turnaround time for us to see that second season, right?

Well, that’s where we got some bad news. Production on that season didn’t start until September 2022. It certainly left us with a lot of questions about when we could expect the second season. It would depend on how long production would take as to whether there was a chance of getting the season in 2023.

Reacher Season 2 should arrive on Prime Video in 2023

According to Collider, we should see Reacher Season 2 premiere in 2023. This is something Vernon Sanders, Head of TV at Amazon Studios, mentioned was in the plans for the content release. That’s all we knew at the time, and that’s still all we know.

Just when in 2023 is anybody’s guess, but we can work things out based on production ending in February and how long post-production usually takes. For a show like this, we’re looking at six to eight months. That would put the release at some time toward the end of the summer or in the middle of fall.

We won’t complain with a fall 2023 release date.

There is just something Amazon will want to look at right now: Jack Ryan Season 4. There is a good chance that we’ll get that show in 2023, too. Amazon won’t want to release the two shows at the same time. They work for the same audience, so we’d likely see them run back to back if they’re both ready around the same time.
