Invincible Season 2 is not coming to Prime Video in May 2023

We are ready for Invincible Season 2, but it’s clear that Amazon is not. When could we get to see the second season of the adult animated series?

April 2023 marked two years since the first season of Invincible premiered on Prime Video. It has been an exceptionally long wait since then, and that wait is not coming to an end just yet. This series is not one on the list of new arrivals on Prime Video in May 2023.

In fact, the May list didn’t have many big releases. That’s not too surprising when you consider there are episodes of big shows like The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and Citadel still to air. However, we are disappointed in the lack of our favorite animated superhero series.

When will Invincible Season 2 come to Prime Video?

Amazon hasn’t been all that vocal about the series, but we do have a rough guide. We know that the season is arriving at some point this year. The teaser trailer, which poked fun at the lack of news about the show and the long wait, shared that we would get it in late 2023.

This would suggest October to December of this year. We know it will be worth the wait, but it still feels like a drag. However, we’d rather see the show have the time to work on all the graphics. It’s not going to be an easy one to put together.

The wait for Invincible Season 3 shouldn’t be as long. Work has already started on it, but Steven Yeun is a busy man. We’ll have to see if he has the ability to do the voice work right away.
