Is Invincible renewed for Season 2?

Invincible has certainly been one of those hot TV shows for Amazon. That means Amazon has renewed it for Season 2, right? Here’s what we know so far.

It’s hard to believe that Invincible has been around for 20 years, and yet some people had never heard of it. Robert Kirkman is the man behind the comics, just like being the man behind The Walking Dead, and now the comics have come to life on the small screen.

The story follows Mark Grayson, a 17-year-old boy who just wants to fit in. He’s a normal teenage boy, except that his father is the world’s most powerful superhero, and he hasn’t come into his powers yet. When he does come into them, he has to learn to control them, but he also has to figure out the type of superhero he wants to be.

Steven Yuen voices Mark Grayson, with J.K. Simmons and Sandra Oh voicing his parents. There are many other voices that you’ll recognize, including a number from The Walking Dead.

Has Invincible been renewed?

There is some excellent news about the adult animation series. Just ahead of the release of the Season 1 finale, Amazon confirmed that not only would Invincible Season 2 happen, but so would Season 3.

Will there be a Season 2 of Invincible?

Yes, the renewal means that Season 2 is definitely happening. We don’t have a full confirmation about season length or the release format, but we can make some guesses.

Eight episodes worked well for the first season, and it does seem to be the average length for Amazon shows. If not eight, we usually see a maximum of 10 episodes. The hybrid release format seemed to work well for the first season, so we can probably expect to see that for the second season.

When will the new season of Invincible start?

So, when will we get to see the new season? It usually takes 14 to 18 months between seasons. The good thing about this series is there’s already the source material, and the man behind the source material is working on the TV series. That should help to reduce some of the time between seasons.

We’re looking at around June 2022 at the earliest for the start of the season.
