Good Omens Season 2 is not coming to Prime Video in May 2023

Since hearing production had finished last year, we’ve been ready for Good Omens Season 2. When will the season come to Prime Video?

We have to start this post with the bad news. That is that Good Omens Season 2 is nowhere on the list of May releases on Prime Video. That’s not too surprising when you consider we last heard that the series would arrive in summer 2023. It’s not yet summer!

Now all eyes are on when we could expect it. It sounds like we’re a lot closer than we were just earlier this month.

When will Good Omens Season 2 come to Prime Video?

Neil Gaiman is great at keeping fans in the loop. Just recently, he shared that Amazon has the finished product. Yes, post-production is complete.

He also shared that there isn’t a trailer just yet. That’s not been created by the team, so it means we still don’t have a premiere date. That doesn’t mean we will have to wait too long. A trailer doesn’t take as long to put together as the post-production for a series like this would take. Most of the hard work has already been done.

Gaiman doesn’t want the trailer to be released too early. Netflix releasing a trailer early for Sandman caused fans to riot. However, Amazon fans aren’t as bad. After all, look at how early The Lord of the Rings trailer was released. All that did was create more hype for the series.

All we know right now is that Good Omens Season 2 is coming out sometime in the summer. That could mean any time from the middle of June to the middle of September. We’ll be sure to keep an eye out for things as we could get a release date any day now.
