The first season of a new spy thriller is coming to Prime Video this weekend. It’s all about Citadel, but what is the Citadel age rating? Is this a series you can watch with the kids around?

There is no doubt that you’ll want to jump right into the new series Citadel. After all, the Russo brothers are behind it, and there are already talks of a second season happening.

The first two episodes arrive on Prime Video on Friday, April 28. Thanks to time zones working in our favor, there is a good chance that we’ll get to watch the series on Thursday night. That is going to be when the kids are still awake, so you’ll need to know if the series is going to be something for them or not.

You’ll want to take a look at the official Citadel age rating to get an idea of what to expect. This will help you determine if the show is good for your children.

Citadel age rating

The official age rating for the series is TV-MA. This is the same as watching an R-rated movie, which means it’s designed for children 18 and over.

This is a spy thriller. Think of the likes of The Night Agent and Jack Ryan. There will be some harsh language, violence, gore, and nudity. There is no way to get around that with a series like this. So, if you’re not comfortable with your children being around that, you’ll need to consider it when it comes to watching the episodes.

The good news is only two episodes drop this week. After that, there will only be one episode each week. You can watch Thursday nights once the children are in bed.
