The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 2 is not coming in April 2023

We would love to see what’s next for Belly, but that’s not happening just yet. What do we know about The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 2 so far?

As much as we would love to see the next season of The Summer I Turned Pretty, that’s not happening just yet. We’re not all that surprised by that, either. The series is definitely not on the list of April releases on Prime Video, and we’re not expecting it for another couple of months.

That doesn’t stop us from checking out the listings. It also doesn’t stop us from looking for any sort of information about the second season.

When will The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 2 come to Prime Video?

We don’t yet have a release date for the season, but we have some good news. Production has wrapped on the series. Production wrapped a while ago, and this is the type of show that doesn’t take too long in post-production.

The clue to a potential release date is in the title of the show. It’s all about one girl’s summer, so we’re expecting The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 2 to arrive some time this summer. It could be as early as June like the first season or we may need to wait for August or September.

I don’t think we’ll have to wait too long into the summer, though. Remember that production has wrapped. It is plausible that we’ll get a new season in June 2023.

Of course, while we look for news on the second season, we’re looking at anything about a third season. Amazon hasn’t renewed the show yet, but that’s not surprising. We may get an early renewal ahead of the second season release, maybe with a confirmation at the time of the premiere date announcement. The second season renewal came ahead of the series premiere, so we have a lot of hope for this show.
