Upload Season 3 is not coming to Prime Video in April 2023

We are ready to see what comes next for Nathan and Nora. The bad news is Amazon isn’t. Upload Season 3 will not arrive this month.

All eyes are on when the next season of the Robbie Amell series, Upload, will arrive on Prime Video. It’s been more than a year now since the second season, and there are no signs of the third season arriving any time soon.

That’s right; it is not on the list of arrivals in April 2023. When you consider the final season of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel is the big show of the month, that shouldn’t be too surprising. Even if the episodes of Upload Season 3 were ready, Amazon would need to be strategic with the release.

When will Upload Season 3 come to Prime Video?

Production came to an end in November 2022. I’ve seen a lot of publications sharing that the new season was expected at some point in the first quarter of this year, but that doesn’t make sense and there is no source for this. I can’t wrap my head around the claim, to be honest.

While I do think 2023 is likely, I think it’s going to be toward the end of 2023. This is simply based on how long post-production takes for this series.

Season 2 wrapped production in April 2021 and the season arrived on Prime Video in March 2022. That’s 11 months of post-production. If Season 3 wrapped production in November 2022, we’re looking at October 2023 as a release date for the season.

This is plausible and could work for the scheduling of other shows. The Wheel of Time is another big fantasy series that needs to drop a new season and is expected some time this year. We could see that show in the summer and then Upload in the fall to space out big content and keep subscribers on the platform.
