We’re very close to ending Midge Maisel’s story. We want to see her name in lights, while also seeing many of the other characters we’ve come to know and love succeed in their dreams. Just how many episodes do we have in this final season?
There hasn’t been a standard set of episodes for this brilliant series. The second season had 10 episodes while all other seasons have had eight episodes. What will Season 5 look like?

The fifth and final season is going to be in the middle of everything else. The show will have nine episodes.
The original plan was for the final season to have eight episodes. This would usually be enough, but it looks like that final episode was needed. Of course, Amazon wasn’t going to say no to one extra episode of one of its most popular shows, especially when it comes to saying goodbye to that story.
The episodes will be released weekly. There will be three episodes release on Friday, April 14. After that, we’ll get one episode per week until the series finale airs. This is different to the fourth season, which saw two episodes released each week over the course of four weeks. In a way, the weekly release is best so it takes a little longer to lose our favorite characters.
